Mario Marconi became the fourth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother. The former stripping policeman received 77% of the votes. He and his partner Lisa made Big Brother history by being the first ever couple to enter the house.

Mario was targeted quickly as along with Alex was up for eviction in the second week. However, he was saved from this fate as Alex was booted out for her “gangster” rap.

His obsession with health and safety was hilarious along with his boasts of appearing on “The Ant and Dec Show” and acting as a Robbie Coltrane double. He claimed to have thousands of fans, yet clearly they deserted him on eviction night.

Mario contributed much to the house throwing himself into the tasks, particulary the “marriage” task which was hard work considering the cold shoulder he received from Stephanie. His role, often the Authoritarion, possibly because he was the eldest in the house or perhaps because he was a control freak.

A self proclaimed facilitator and manager of the people - we still do not have a clue what his current occupation is. Mikey’s self appointed right hand man (and eyes) his conduct was quite patronizing, though Mikey never complained.

During his last week he became increasingly agitated, forever moaning, gossiping and criticizing, he even targeted Lisa. He proclaimed he was saving the best till last when he announced he would tell everyone just what he thought about them before his eviction. Big words but he did not deliver.

His lowest act however, was to sabotage Rex’s pizzas. A lowly blow for a 43 year old man who claims to have done it and seen.

Goodbye Mario and watch out for those elastic bands. Very dangerous
