Rebecca Shiner became the sixth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house, with 65% of the vote.

The 21 year old Nursery Nurse from Coventry gasped when Davina called out her name.

“I wasn’t expecting that” she exclaimed.

Full of her own self importance, Rebecca could not believe that the public would find Darnell and Mohamed entertaining. Having been saved from eviction once before she may have felt invincible.

Rebecca loved being the centre of attention and was most likely the loudest member of the household. Screaming, running and jumping about she was full of energy, except when it came to the tasks, quickly running out of steam on the bicycle challenge and sitting on the swinging tyre for all of 5 minutes in the Head of House task. Then she moaned and wondered why no-one wanted to choose her to take part in the tasks.

“No Rebecca No” Luke would often be heard screaming as once again she would strip off. Rebecca constantly chased and teased him; pulling his duvet away, smearing him in fake tan and drenching him with water. It was fun to watch. Their constant moaning about fellow housemates Kat and Rachael however, was not.

The relationship changed as the odd couple shared a few kisses in bed, yet they always took place when Rebecca was up for eviction.

Rebecca’s behaviour resembled that of a 2 year old at times, sulking when she didn’t get her own way and cutting Mohamed’s belt as an act of revenge. She did not enjoy others having fun when she was not and despised anyone who was taking the spotlight away from her.

The house will be a quieter place without her and it will be interesting to watch how Luke will cope.
